FAQ

When will the Easter Bunny letters mail out?

The Easter Bunny letters will start mailing out the first week of March.

Do you offer Santa Letters year-round, or just at Christmas?

I now offer Letters from Santa year-round, not just at Christmas.  I also offer Birthday Letters from Santa.

How are they different?

They are similar to the holiday letters, except that the year-round ones will be tailored to seasonal activities and will have different surprises, so as not to duplicate the letters mailed at Christmas.

I can add a gentle reminder to be good all year, not just at Christmas, or to praise a child for being good all year, and not just at Christmas.  .

The birthday letters emphasize the child's birthday, but again are similar.

I try to make them all slightly different, so you don't receive the same letter over and over.  Same thing for siblings.

How do the online forms work?

The online forms email me the information.  They do not generate the letter themselves.
I take the information and write the letter "by hand" so to speak.   I incorporate some stock paragraphs with new material plus the information you provide to create a one-of-a-kind, fully personalized letter written just for you.  I don't use form letters, or mail merge to insert names and addresses into form letters.

Yes, this process takes longer, but I feel it is more personal.  Therefore, the more information about what the recipient likes, the more personalized the letter.

Do you offer Delivery Confirmation?

In order to keep the costs of the letters down, I decided not to offer Delivery Confirmation anymore.  Frankly, as far as I know, a letter has never not arrived.

Do you offer a money back guarantee on the letters?

Yes. If you are not satisfied with any letter, simply return the letter and all enclosures (books, ornaments, etc) for a full refund (minus Paypal processing fee, if ordered online.) I'd appreciate a note why you weren't happy, since I'm always trying to improve.

Once I mail a letter, I can't be held responsible if it does not arrive on time. However, do let me know, and if there is time before the holiday, I will send a duplicate letter.  (Or I can send a duplicate letter with a note from Santa/Easter Bunny/Christmas Angel as to why it did not arrive on time--i.e.. trouble with the North Pole Mail/ Bunny Mail.)

If there's a typo, just email me and I will send a duplicate letter without charge. (I proof each letter several times, but I'm only human, and this is a one-person operation.)

Do you offer a money back guarantee on the ebook?

Sorry, but ebooks, due to their nature, are not returnable. Print copies of the book would have to be returned to place of sale, according to their rules, such as Amazon, etc.

Why is the cost for the mail-in forms cheaper than the online form?

Because of the Paypal fees associated with the online form. With the mail-in form, you pay the postage, so it comes to the same, actually.

Why do you want my email?

I won't spam you. I just ask for your email to:

  • email confirmation the order was received
  • email confirmation the letter mailed

And only if necessary:

  • to double check unusual name spellings or addresses
  • if something appears to have gotten cut off in the email transmission
  • some piece of information just doesn't look right.

Will I receive spam if I join your YahooGroups mailing list?

No.  This is an announcement-only list.
I only send 3 or 4 messages a year, announcing contests.  I will pick all winners from the mailing group list, so if you're on the list, you don't have to re-subscribe. You don't have to do anything.  I will contact winners by email.

What do you do with the information I provide?

I do not sell or rent email addresses, or any other information. I use the information only to write the letters.

Why do you mail multiple letters to the same address in one larger outside envelope?

Because that is the only way to assure all letters to a single address arrive on the same day.

I enclose each letter in a white Kraft envelope decorated with the same stickers as the outside bubble envelope, so each child can still open their own letter.

If you prefer, I will mail letters to the same address separately, but I cannot guarantee they will arrive on the same day.

(We reserve the right to delay mailing the letter until the check clears.)
